Somerville Porchfest 2025

Somerville, Massachusetts’ annual Porchfest returned on Saturday, May 10, for another successful year. Rain earlier in the day didn’t stop the crowds from coming out to hear live music on nearly every corner. Folks danced in the streets, bobbed their heads to the beat, and looked on as musical groups of myriad genres showed up and showed out.


International Women’s Day, 2025

Gathering on the steps of the Vermont State House in Montpelier, Vt., scores of Vermonters made their frustration and discontent with the new Trump administration heard.

Speeches by U.S. Congresswoman Becca Balint, Vermont Attorney General Charity Clark, Vermont Secretary of State Sarah Copeland-Hansas, and State Treasurer Mike Pieciak, among others, underscored the “all hands on deck” mentality some have.


The Vermont Flood of 2023

On Sunday, July 9, 2023, torrential rain fell on much of Vermont. Over the course of the following days, many towns were devastated by flooding. Montpelier, the state’s capital, was among them. Vermont artist Charles “Chuck” Bohn passed away the afternoon of February 18, 2022. These photos of his home were made the day he died. From his kitchen to his studio, they show how he lived up to his final moments.
